Fastest casino payout methods for Malta residents

The fastest casino payout method for players in Malta is, in our tests, an e-wallet or a Revolut card payout once the withdrawal is approved — but the rail only controls the last leg of the journey, and the operator’s approval queue and KYC usually decide the total wait. This page ranks methods by the part they control: how long the money takes to land after the casino releases it.

Speed ranking by method

Ranking below is the structure; the numeric column fills from timestamped tests in the Payout Speed Index — no figure is shown until it’s measured.

Rank Method Post-approval speed Notes
1 eWallet (Skrill / Neteller, MiFinity) Near-instant Fastest last leg — and at NetBet the one that disqualifies you from the welcome offer: a deposit made with Skrill or Neteller doesn’t count towards it at all
2 Revolut card payout Minutes–hours Where the operator supports card payouts
3 Visa Direct / card payout (OCT) Minutes–hours at fast issuers “visa fast withdrawal” — depends on the issuer and operator’s OCT support
4 Trustly / instant bank Same-day where supported Bank-to-bank, front-loads verification
5 Crypto Minutes on-chain Operator-dependent — see crypto casinos accepting Malta residents
6 Bank transfer / SEPA 1–3 business days Slowest, but best for large sums

The rails we’ve actually clocked

Two rails carry measured end-to-end figures so far, and both name the operator behind the number:

If you take the welcome offer

The deposit is locked while a bonus is active: cancelling the bonus, or letting it expire, forfeits it and the winnings attributed to it. (Bonus T&Cs S3.22)Every term of this offer ➔

A bonus balance is not the balance these figures describe

The NetBet cycle above ran on a balance with no welcome bonus attached — confirmed on the account, and the offer’s own terms would have ruled one out anyway, since a Skrill deposit doesn’t qualify. So the three hours describe how fast NetBet returns money that is already yours to withdraw. They describe nothing about how long a bonus balance takes, because a bonus balance is not withdrawable at all until the offer’s 30× on the bonus is met — and asking for it early forfeits the bonus and the winnings sitting on top of it.

For the BitStarz and BC.Game cycles we have not recorded whether a bonus was live, so read those two as timings of the rail and the queue, and nothing more. It is the sort of thing that only looks unimportant until the number is quoted back at you.

The distinction is why this site puts bonus terms beside payout times rather than on a page of their own. If speed is what you came for, the fastest route is the one no offer rewards: deposit, play, withdraw, nothing claimed, nothing standing between the request and the rail.

Why the rail is only half the story

Two clocks run before the rail even starts: the operator’s internal approval queue, and KYC on a first withdrawal. A “fast” method behind a manual, office-hours approval queue is slower than a “slow” method behind instant auto-approval. Clear KYC in advance (how to) and the rail’s natural speed is what you get.
